There are two good offers in a local store, with the price difference being about 7€.
One is a ram kit clocked at 3200MHz and CL14, and the other is 3466MHz with CL16.
I've read about calculating true latency, and the one at 3200MHz has a latency of 8.75ns while the other has 9.23ns, so the kit with the speed of 3200MHz seems better (I understand real world gains would be almost nonexistent).
I'm building a Ryzen system though, and Ryzen is known to benefit from higher speed memory. What would be better in this case, giving Ryzen higher speed ram, or picking the kit with an overall lower latency?
I know the difference in performance is certainly unnoticeable, or there might be 2fps in question when it comes to games, but I'm still curious.
Thanks for your time!
