Hey folks. There are lots of nice portable pi camera projects but most are large, have simple switches and use a custom 3d printed or old repurposed camera case. Using off the shelf parts, soldering iron, small drill and x-acto I mounted a 5 way tactile next to a pi camera in a zero case and attached it with velcro to another zero case that has a battery, booster/charger. I will switch the booster/charger for a booster and stick a bigger battery in there and maybe even add another switch on the battery/booster module and a ground enable to stop battery output. With the 5 way tactile it can to take a single shot, 10 shots, start video, stop video or shutdown. Only runs for a couple hours with 400mAh battery. Once I put in smaller booster it should be able to squeeze in 600-700 battery.

Thanks. The most difficult part was getting the wire lengths right so the switch, camera and computer would fit in single case, squeeze together and hold without assistance. I can toss it around and case doesn't pop open. Took a few try's and about 4 inches of solder wick.
