No, that is not possible.
Physically, electronically, procedurally, or any other -ly.

No way to do this. But there's also a good chance that those 16GB modules are ecc reg and not udimms. If your board needs udimms, ecc reg will not work.

Otherwise, if you board does work with ecc reg, just install them as they will more than likely work as the documentation was outdated.
