I hooked up my tower to my 42 lg tv and everything works great. My graphics card has hdmi output and sound and video are good. I have a 2.1 sound system that sounds ok.
My question is, can I get sound to come out of both the hdmi to tv and 3.5 jack to 2.1 sound system??
So far I can switch, they both work, but not at the same time. Using windows 8.1, GT610 and abit ip35 pro.

Ok, so after I install and go to play Gta5, it says this program can't be played on your computer, so I do some digging snd find out I installed 32 bit windows 8.1. Gta5 works on my other rig, 64 bit.

I have both 32 and 64, I figured wth, long story short, I install 64 bit on this rig. Everything works fine except now when I get to step "head over to the recording tab and select Show Disabled Devices from right-click context menu. This will display another recording device which named Mono Mix or Stereo Mix" and I no longer have stereo mix option.

I know my hardware supports it because in 32 bit I not only got to see and use The Stereo Mixer, everything worked and I had sound coming out of my hdmi LG 42 inch tv AND my 3.5mm 2.12.1 speakers. This is a Windows issue. Plzzz help...
