Hello All,

I've been sportsbetting online for a year now and this economy/job market hasn't really left me any options but to become a full time sports investor. I need to upgrade my current system so I can simultaneously monitor line movements, watch games, and place bets.

I don't have cable or satellite but rather stream all live sports events over the internet. For this NFL season I'll be using Sunday Ticket To Go and hopefully for NBA I'll be using League Pass. What I want is to be able to stream games to a large Television screen while having two LED monitors with an extended desktop for internet surfing and excel spreadsheets.

Other than that I need to be able to run basic office programs and internet browsing.

I have around $1000 to build a system not including monitors.

Thanks in advance,

But had totally forgot about the HD 6xxx series cards that can push 4 monitors,... IMO even those will be good and will do 7.1 over the HDMI,...
HD 6770 Flex allows for 3 monitor setup without the need of a DisplayPort or an Active adaptor, but if you want to get 4 monitor o/p, then you would need a monitor with DisplayPort or have to use Active adapter,...

Video card - Now this is the most important part,... To go 3 monitors, you would either have to go with a single costlier card which can handle multi-monitor setup or go with 2 cheap cards which run separately(no SLI/ Crossfire), which can handle 4 monitors,... I like the latter because say for ~$80 you can get 2 cards which can handle 4 monitors,...

Thanks gkay for the ideas. Definitely makes sense on the two vid cards. How will the audio work on this? Will 7.1 surround output via the HDMI?

Any advantage of an I5 over an AMD?

Does that motherboard support 2 graphics cards?
