I'm most likely going to get the Asus Aura motherboard but the price is a bit more than i can spend right now. But I heard that AsRock was good so i found this motherboard.

I was wondering if i could possibly take the heat spreaders off this motherboard and paint them white? I really would like to save the extra money by going with this motherboard and painting the heatsinks. Is it possible? Thanks

Your case is kinda fine.
Rationally/functionally - you should do the following:
1. Get decent MB like the GB i linked, but better Aura
2. Get decent cooler
3. Check the GPU - upgrade if needed
4. check the RAM/SSD/PSU - upgrade/add if needed
5. Check your monitor - upgrade if wanted/needed
6 there is Fractal Design Define S for 70$ out there. Which is (IMHO) better than NZXT S340
yes, you can paint them.
I hope you are not planning to overclock on this board. the lack of appropriate VRM cooling will probably cause stability issues. I'd not mention components quality.
The Z170 Pro Gaming Aura is at 130$
the cheapest board i'd use for overclockable system is http://pcpartpicker.com/product/8q38TW/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz170xpsli
but than again, it's only 15$ less than Pro Gaming Aura.
may be you should wait for the black Friday sale in two weeks 😉

If you can, you should.
For example my GPU died week before the release of GTX 1070 - so I couldn't wait and bought it for 440$. Now the same GPU is running for 389$ and there are even Nvidia's MSRP 379.99 for overclocked GB GTX 1070. And my plan was to buy the pascal right about now, but I couldn't wait that long without card 🙁
the Pro gaming aura was 155$ couple of weeks ago -> now down to 130$. that's a huge drop.
but don't expect good boards to fall below 100$. But you will probably find good selection of boards in 100-130$ range that usually run for 150+.
there are also bundles (CPU or RAM) that can make it really attractive deal.

exactly.
MB is very important component for system stability as it is responsible for interaction with RAM and powering CPU. and of course the audio circle.
So it is important to have decent board in the long run. you do have (other) good components, and overclockable CPU that you are going to overclock.
Think about long run, not immediate saving.
I guess you understand that painting the heatsinks will probably void the warranty as well.

So basically what i can do right now is either just get a motherboard. (The Asus Aura). Or get the Cryorig H7 along with a Corsair 400C or NZXT S340 Elite. So my question now is should i get the new motherboard and stick with the Gigabyte H100M-A until Christmas? Or should i purchase the Cryorig H7 along with a new case like the NZXT S340 Elite or Corsair 400C. BTW I dont know which case to get lol....

Why would you buy a new motherboard and keep using the old one?

Personally I would buy a new motherboard now and use it. Case and heatsink can come later unless you are overclocking, then I would recommend a better cooler. The H7 is good (I use one myself) but for overclocking it isn't great, you want something that can move more heat than the H7 can. As a stock replacement its pretty epic.

I like the Define R5 for a case. Then again I'm not much into windows and lights. I lean more toward quiet and ease of use.

No if i got a new motherboard then i would be using the stock cooler and the Corsair 100R. However if i choose to get a new case and cooler then i stick with the igabyte H110M-A till Christmas. What choice is best here?
