Hello,

Lately, I’ve noticed that everything on my computer lags more, and my CPU is running at 100%, but the temperature is only around 42°C. Today, I decided to overclock it to 4GHz, set the voltage to about 1.35V, and ran Cinebench. My Ryzen 3 1200 achieved a score of 223, which is strange because this CPU should score nearly 600 points. I also have a better cooler, not the stock AMD one. In HWinfo it says that Bios is reporting 110%+ power, but i think it could be much more. I also tried installing new chipset drivers, resetting UEFI to defaults, I honestly don't know what more I can do.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX570 Nitro+
MB: ASRock AB350M Pro4
RAM: HyperX Predator 8GB DDR4 3200MHz + HyperX Predator 8GB DDR4 3200MHz
PSU: Be quiet! System Power 9 - 500W
CPU Cooler: SilentiumPC Spartan 3 PRO HE1024

I’d appreciate advice from someone experienced.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

I honestly don't know what more I can do.
If your BIOS is on the latest version and nothing changed prior to today, hardware and software wise, I'd try and reinstall the OS, with all drives disconnected except for the drive you wish to install the OS onto. Please recreate your bootable USB installer for your OS and install the OS in offline mode.

Speaking of OS, you forgot to mention that, alongside your case's make and model.

PSU: Be quiet! System Power 9 - 500W
How old is the PSU in your build?
