Question SQL License

I'm replacing the M/B in my server (with the same model) and am wondering whether my SQL License will transport or if it's tied to some secret info associated with the m/b hardware. I'm hoping the disks all move across intact. If it won't move transparently, is there a mechanism to abandon a license and move it? I see people selling MS licenses as "used" that come out of wrecked hardware, so there may be a method?

I licensed it 2 years ago and I'm not onsite, so I couldn't guess. It's probably not a volume license since it's a single machine for a small office.
