Sql server 2000 does not install in windows 7

Hello,
in windows7 sql server 2007 is not working properly

Only SQL Server 2005 SP3 or greater and SQL Server 2008 SP1 or greater are supported in Windows 7 by Microsoft.

The reason given for not supporting 2000 on Vista/Win7 is because of LUA/UAC issues.

Other option, is to use SQL Server 2005 SP3, and run the database in compatibility mode for 2000.

If you really need to run SQL 2000, you could run a VM and install it there.
