[SOLVED] sqpc virus in my pc

my pc is being attacked by virus which turned few photos of mine into .sqpc file and now its not accessible . please help!

It's called 'ransomware'...

not all but few of my files are turned into sqpc and i dont have any backups 🙁

I'm surprised it did not get every file....

But without backups, your journey appears rather... short and, possibly not with a good ending.

You might double check to see if any restore images ight be present to allow a restore to an earlier time from before the infection, but, those images are usually not forgotten by ransomware writers..
