ssd and hdd cloneing

I cloned 500gb. Seagate hdd to a 500gb. 850 Evo ssd using Clonezulla and Yumi and went off without a hitch . A few days later I was given a brand new , clean WD black 1 Tb. hdd . I assume I can clone the ssd or the Seagate to the 1 Tb. drive without a problem . Clonezilla at the end of the program has a "boot loader" option in which you ans. Y or N so if I answer N will my sys. still boot from the ssd and use the WD as storage ? The setup is HP8300 , i7. 16gig ram with 500W PSU . Thank you

Not sure I understand your goal.

If you have successfully cloned to the 500GB SSD, why are you wanting to clone to the 1TB drive? Just for more space? What will you do with the SSD?

I would like to boot from the ssd and use the 1Tb for storage.

Then you need not doing anything but install the drive and format it. No cloning required.

You do not need to do anything special with the new 1TB drive.
No cloning or anything.

Just connect it, and proceed.
Maybe you need to Initialize and format. But no cloning needed.
