ssd and hdd is not showing up...help!!

just bought a new sandisk 128 gb ssd and a western digital green 3tb hdd
neither of these are showing up and I need to install windows on my ssd so I can run my os directly from my ssd
please help me

Some motherboards have two sets of six gig Sata ports. If your mb has them make sure your on the intel ports as most mb turn off the acmedia Sata ports.

Are you adding these onto a current machine or building a new one.
If your adding them to a machine, theres some prep work you have to do before the drives are recognized in Windows.
