Recently ordered a list of parts to build a custom PC, having some slight issue with the SSD, the Samsun 960 EVO 250gb, when installing windows on the drive it goes well up to the point of the first "needs to restart to continue" after restarting this does not continue the setup but takes me to the windows starting menu and freezes while the icon is forming then reboots continuously till I intervene. I have used the bootable usb to install windows on 3 other computers and have had no problems but when installing onto the normal SATA it continues just fine as well so I do not believe that there is issue with the windows setup.
Is there a specific method to install windows on a SSD such as bios settings I need to change or anything, do i need to update the SSDs firmware first or something - First time using an SSD don't know the technology very well any help would be appreciated?
