Components:
-MPG B650 CARBON WIFI Motherboard- Supports AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors, AM5 - 16 Phases Direct CPU Power 80A VRM, DDR5 6600+MHz/OC, 2x PCIe 4.0 x16, 1x M.2 Gen5, 3x M.2 Gen4,
-SABRENT M.2 NVMe SSD 2TB Gen 4 with PS5 Heatsink, Internal Solid State 7100MB/s Read, PCIe 4.0 M2 Hard Drive for Gamers, Compatible with PlayStation 5
Problem:
Tried to build a brand new PC, failed and sent it to a service where they tested all components and confirmed they all work. After they built it, i got it back and told I only had to install the OS since I didn't provide a legal one. When I went to install my OS, the windows install menu showed that I have only 2.0 MB available. This couldn't be correct since i had a 2TB SSD so i checked the bios. The SSD does appear in the bios, however, the size isn't showing.
I updated the Bios since it two new versions dropped since i bought the components. It did not solve the problem.
A solution i keep finding online is "Look for the PCI Express X4_3 Slot Bandwidth section and set the option to “M.2 Mode“. I cannot find this in my bios.
Any advice? Maybe the M.2 mode is in a different place in my BIOS?
