I recently upgraded my HDD to an EVO 850 1TB SSD card and have been experiencing some intense FPS drops every since I did. The SSD was installed clean, I unplugged the HDD and then plugged in the SSD, did an install of windows 7 and then fresh installed every program that I wanted. Thing is that now some of my games are quite literally unplayable now due to the FPS drops. I typically average about 150 fps on League of Legends, capped, on my HDD but now with my SSD I can barely hit 40 FPS and this is causing me to have some serious problems with play. It also causes a problem with Battlefield 1 in the sense that its totally unplayable now, normally I would average about 30-40 fps on the HDD, which while not great was still playable, now it sits around 14-18 FPS which makes the game totally unplayable.
My system stats:
AMD FX 8120 8-core processor, 3.1 GHz
16 GB of RAM
AMD Radeon R9 390 GPU
Samsung EVO 850 1TB SSD
Windows 7 Home Premium OS
If you need any further information I'll be glad to provide, just may need a walkthrough on how to get it.
