ssd compatibility with my motherboard

while looking at the ssd compatibilty with the a320m hd2, i found most of the ssds were outdated and overpriced, and was wondering if a newer ssd like an mx500 or an 860 evo would be compatible with the motherboard. thank you in advance.

It has 4 SATA III port.
It can use any typical 2.5" SATA III SSD.
The MX500 or 860 EVO would work.

That support list is simply what was available when they wrote that. They just haven't, and won't, update it.

The list shows ssd devices that were tested on the motherboard.
Many others would also work including the two you listed.
The connection is sata; I like the 860 evo better.
