So i recently did a clean restore to my second ssd. I initialized it and created a new simple volume as shown by video tutorials. The problem is that when i enter my ssd, it has nothing at all. It doesn't have the normal program files folders that it used to have. I was wondering on how to get those folders. Below i posted a screenshot of how my second ssd looks.

Solution
This is a secondary drive?
You do NOT need folders called Program Files or Program Files(x86).
Those are not created automatically, nor do you need them. You can install applications to any folder.

No i am not looking for the old files. I am looking for the default windows folder such as "Program Files" and "Program Filesx86".

WT#%$ is "clean restore"?
Can you provide link to the video?

Did you want to clone your primary SSD to secondary? or what?

No, i deleted all my files from on my second ssd to start fresh. Here is the link to the video for re-initializing the drive.

the video walks you through creating a partition. after the partition creation and formatting there will be no files on the drive. it is blank now.
if you want program files and program files(x86) you must install a version of windows to the newly blanked SSD.

formatting removes everything, folder, files, everything. if you want those folders you will need to create them manually or by installing a windows OS.

the three folders that are there were created after the format I assume. all were created on the 8th.

if you want to make sure

That occurred to me too - - may be it's just a storage drive with no OS on it.

In which case the OP is expecting to see folders on it which don't even apply to that drive!

The OP must have somehow imagined they were there before the format, or it did have an old Windows install on it and he wanted to erase it.

Thank you, i just created a folder named program files and it seems to be working fine.

OK, but you do not need it.
As said, applications can be installed in any folder.
"MyStuff", for instance.
