Hello,

Is it possible to install additional SSD [strike]disk[/strike] to my [strike]motherboard[/strike] system? If yes then is there a sense?

Motherboard is Gigabyte ga-m52l-s3 v. 1.0

Thank you in advance for your support.

Solution
according to the specification page of your motherboard: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-M52L-S3-rev-1x#sp

you should have 2 SATA 3BG/S ports to use. if you only have 1 Hard drive you can use an SSD.
will you get great performance out of it, yes to the limitation that the SSD is 6GB'/s and will only function and perform as 3GB/S device.
unless you use a PCIE model SSD drive then it will only be limited by your bus speed.

should you do it ? it will improve the loading time of your system yes. you can get a 250gb ssd for about 100 or less nowadays.
and will be a future upgrade to a new pc later on asset.
