[SOLVED] SSD for Running Games. HDD for storing others.

I have got around 750gb of SSD storage. It has my operation system, Steam games and a few Autodesk applications.
I am wondering if it would be efficient to store games on a 1tb hdd and have the games I am playing current on my SSD and then transfer games between the SSD and HDD as and when I want to play a certain game (with decreased load times).

Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

Hi there. Thanks for getting back to me. It just means I can spent half as much and get twice as much storage as an SSD as running speed isn't the main goal for the HDD. Just somwhere to store all the games I play on and off.

Well, there is a difference in level load times, SSD being faster.

But SSD+HDD will work no problem.

If you're going to all that trouble. I would just move all the games to the HDD and if a particular one's load times annoy you, only move that one to the SSD. Then you have a lot more storage and only speed up what bothers you.

HDDs made in the last like 6 years are actually decently fast for game loading and streaming game data in openworld games. Before I upgraded my HDD from a 6-7 year old 1TB WD black to a 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, I had no real issue, but I wanted to add more drives to my case and had to swap out that larger HDD.
