SSD has the same speeds as my last HDD even with SATA 3.0

I've had a Samsung 850 Evo 250GB for about a year now, knowing that it wasn't working at full speed with the SATA 2.0 cable. I just upgraded to SATA 3.0 not a couple hours ago, but the speeds are still the same as my old HDD. I'm sure they're SATA 3.0 cables, I don't know what else it could be, and I have very little knowledge on motherboards and their incompatibilities. Here's what I'm running:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
RAM: 1x8GB PNY

Here's some more in depth numbers via UserBenchmark: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/9142470

Running Windows 10 64Bit

Solution
Which specific port is it connected to on the motherboard?
Open the case and look.

EDIT: Doesn't matter.
All you have is SATA II ports.
"6 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors"

There is nothing you can do to speed that up, aside from a whole new motherboard.
The 850 Evo is "Under Performing" because your OS is installed to the Drive. When you run the benchmark, the system is using the drive too, lowering the score. If you were to connect it externally, or as a second drive, it would perform normally. I had the same issue on my system, until I finally figured it out.

Here's a copy of my benchmark: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/9036999

- As always, don't follow "optimization tips" you find for your SSD. They are for extending life, not for speed, which is no longer necessary.

- Make sure AHCI is enabled in your Bios.

- Make sure your SSD is on the SATA 0 port on your Motherboard. It's the fastest.

Other than the few things listed on here, there isn't much else you can do.
