Hello, I just got an SSD for my computer. I currently have a HDD.

I'm young (over 13), and I have no idea how to boot my OS (windows 10) onto my SSD

And I wanna keep my HDD as a storage Drive

Could someone give me some steps on how to do this?

My BIOS is ASRock by the way

<Note if possible, can you show me how to do it so I can keep all my stuff>

Solution
This is how I would do it.

Get some free cloning software.
I use Aomei Backupper.
Install it.
Power down your PC.
Connect the SSD.
Power it up and go to the BIOS and make sure it's recognized.
Then go to disk management and partition it and format it to NTFS format.
Then go to my computer and make sure it's recognized.
Then run the cloning software and do a clone from your main drive to the SSD.
Then reboot and go to the BIOS and set the SSD as the boot drive.
Save the BIOS and reboot.
It should boot to the SSD.
Now you can do whatever you want with the other drive. Use it for data etc.
I think I got all the steps in there^^^

Before the "how", we need to determine the "what".

1. What size is the SSD?
2. Make/model?
3. How much actual consumed space is on your current C drive or partition?
4. What OS is this?
