SSD help

So I just recently heard about SSD and their benefits and I've been looking around to buy some.
But, before I actually throw some money on it, I would like to know what I'm dealing with.

I know some of the basics about it, but I'm not sure if my computer supports SATA 2/3 and if i can raid on my computer(never raided before)

I currently have:
OS: Windows Vista 32-bit Ultimate
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 960t (I may OC and it can be unlocked) + Hyper 212+ cooler

Ram: 3070MB
GPU: Radoen HD 6770
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS

I'm rather new to the new HD/SSD stuff so please bear with me

The link to your mobo is dead. So I can't say whether you even have a SATA channel (I would assume so as they have been on almost every mobo since 2003).

Both of the SSDs are good, but I'd recommend the Crucial over the Corsair because of the price. I also recommend that you try to find a 120-128 GB SSD from Crucial or Corsair if you can afford it.

Off topic: but if you invest in a SSD, you should also get Windows 7. It has "SSD features" that help the drive.

And, install the 64-bit OS, your processor should support 64-bit.

And if you are only going with a 64GB SSD, check out Tom's article about 60-64GB SSD here. I tried the Samsung, but ended up sticking with OCZ Vertex 3. I'd like to get Intel 520 next.

@foscooter: Yeah I forgot to mention that I would also be installing into a 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate OS. However, I did not know that it had "SSD features" so thanks for enlightening me about that

I recommend that you look at the OCZ synapse (http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/52038-ocz-synapse-64gb-ssd-cache-drive-review.html) because it is the single best solution for updating an older system and accellerating you entire system drive. Plus, you don't need to reinstall your OS.
