Howdy,
I am mid way through building my first PC, going well but just have a query around my SSD installation.
The motherboard I am using only has SATA 3 to attach to the SSD, am I correct in thinking the other connection on the SSD is just for the power unit?
The larger SATA cable I have currently goes from my power unit to the SSD but then has multiple SATA plugs on the same cable which do not go back into the motherboard.
There is then a seperate SATA 3 (smaller) cable which goes between SATA 3 port 0 and the SSD - is this correct?
