So i have crucial mx500 500gb ssd.
When i usually copy paste stuff its copy speed is about 8MB/s instead of 500MB/s . When i cheeck in task manager its utilisation is about 10-20 percentage.

When i ran crystaldiskmark ( disk benchmark tool) the results were 560MB/s read and 530 MB/s write ( approximately). When i check task manager the disk utilisation was in 90s percentage.

So is my ssd not been utilised fully because in usual copy paste my speed is 8MB/s but in benchmark tool its 560 which is what i should get.

Solution
Please keep in mind that the whole process only goes as at the speed of the slowest device in the chain.

With that in mind, I would be testing the device you are transferring from and how it is performing.
This sounds an awful lot like you are transferring from a USB flash drive to me (been there...)

It's writing at the reading speed of device you are copying from. Mechanical HDDs and external storage have much lower reading speed than even slowest SSDs can write at.
As my late brother used to say: "Nothing can arrive before it leaves"
