SSD not detected

Hello all!

My HDD crashed some time ago and I got this new Zotac 240GB SSD just now, booted it up with Win10, all works fine.
But sometimes when I restart the system, the SSD is not detected, I dont see it in the startup list of Drives! Now when I remove the sata cable and reinsert it, it starts working again.

This is happening again and again!

What could be the problem?

My Rig: i7 4790k on a MSI Gaming 5.

Did you change to AHCI on BIOS?

I didnt change it. It is by default at AHCI. I am sorry but I donot know what that means so I did not touch it.
Is it not right?

try another sata port on the mb and another sata power cable if it keeps dropping make sure ithas the newest firmware and check the power supply output.

maybe just a bad sata data cable I have to replace mine from time to time even with a platter drive that can happen replace the old cable with a new one and back good to go until the next time ??

I have tried replacing the cables and ports, still it happens.

Check out "Crystal Disk Info". Expand the window, so it shows full raw data. Post a screenshot of that.
