SSD not recognised

I'm having issues with my SSD's I have a nvme and data drive but my computer will only read what ever one I've installed at the time it won't read both is there an easy fix for this?

Could you specify motherboard, where you have them plugged in and all other plugged in devices? Sometimes a GPU or wireless card will be conflicting with an NVME for PCI lanes.

I know I spent 3 hours troubleshooting an ASRock board to get my NVME unit working only to realize that the lanes are shared by one of the GPU slots that I was using to promote airflow.

It's an aorus b450 elite motherboard and I have a m.2 slot slightly under my GPU where my nvme SSD is slotted then another slot a few inches below that slot
