Alright I’ve had the problem for awhile and now it’s getting worse. I’ve been trying to get my Windows 10 pro x64 PC to recognize SSD.
It’s been like this since I put it together last year.

it’s been running good, booted fast, until today and it still doesn’t recognize the SSD. I was having problems with my GPU not working during startup yesterday and completely took it all apart and back together again the same as it was.

I used the opportunity to install an M.2 500gb SSD to the motherboard. My OS is on an enclosed SSD which runs great but isn’t recognized as SSD. I thought the M.2 might work but it also doesn’t come up as SSD.

After installing the M.2, which I was wanting to reinstall windows on, my computer is going wayyy slower and take minutes to pull up the most insignificant windows.

I’ve looked for a similar issue and tried many things:

reseated RAM and GPU
Initialized and formatted the M.2
Looked through the bios for anything
Sata is in ahci
I tried winsat formal
I tried yelling at it

no luck so far
before I wipe the drive and reinstall windows brand new I wanted to see if anyone had anything else to try. I appreciate any help.
