I built my first computer and everything works great except the fact my OCZ Vertex3 120gb does not show up in the BIOS or boot priority screen unless it it plugged into the marvell sata3 port.
My motherboard is the P8Z68-V PRO mobo and has 2 marvell sata 6gb ports, 2 intel sata gb ports and 4 sata 3gb ports.
I also know i did not plug it into an "eSATA" port because there is no eSATA port
I have the SSD plugged into the Grey SATA 6gbs port and i've tried replacing cords or changing slots.
The SSD only shows up in the Marvell sata 6gb ports so that makes me think it is not a bad drive and also the ports are not broken as my dvd drive works.
I've also tried the different modes on the Advanced BIOS Sata config as well as enabling hot plugging.
Any help?
