SSD not seen in BIOS

I have a newly built PC. Everything works fine. I have 5 HDD disks on SATA ports 2-6 and one SSD SanDisk Z400 on SATA port 1. I can see the HDDs in BIOS but not the SSD. I have checked SATA and power cables. What else is there to do?

Had it occur to me and all I did was plugged the SSD into a different SATA port. Try switching the SATA cables around, like plugging the SSD into one of the HDD's SATA ports or simply another empty SATA port if you have one left.

SOLVED!
The SSD is a 2.5" disk mounted in a ICY DOCK adapter and the connector wasn't properly seated. It was hard to push in but now the disk is seen in BIOS.
