SSD not showing in BIOS

I have installed a new SSD besides the existing one as I needed more space on it. I can see the new SSD on My Computer and in my Device Manager and can use it as a storage device.
I cloned my existing SSD to it using EaseUS to use it as the primary SSD however I cant use it as boot device as it doesnt show in my boot menu in the BIOS neither in the System Configuration.

Is it because I didnt install windows on it the traditional way or is there another reason ?

Update: in BIOS the new SSD doesnt show, however when I go to the advanced menu in BIOS I can see my new SSD. However when I select it to boot; windows load and shows me that it booted from the old SSD. No option is showing to make it a default or change the order of drives to boot from.

have you tried disconnecting your storage devices from the motherboard, swapping sata ports between the two ssds, booting up and entering bios to check the boot priority ? perhaps your motherboard is giving priority to the original ssd over the sandisk because of the sata port it is using. this is a bit of guess work and not guaranteed to work btw.

Seems like I'm getting somewhere now, I changed the SATA ports from the main SSD to the new one and vise versa.
1) New SSD shows, old one doesn't show.
2) Although the New SSD is cloned from the old SSD using EaseUS Partition Master, windows didnt boot and I got back to the BIOS.

ok it seems like when you cloned the ssd it hasn't cloned the boot sector. did you do a sector by sector clone ? i think you need to insert a windows installation media (dvd or usb) and select the option to repair your computer . it should write a new boot sector to the new ssd . with a bit of luck .

edit: do this with the sandisk ssd set as the boot drive or it will just try to repair the old ssd.

Thanks again for your support.
I have managed to run the new SSD, however I'm not sure what the reason is, but it seems like I can only use the same size of storage as my old SSD when cloned, the rest is unallocated.

I then tried to create a simple Volume and then Merge them which made the whole Disk Logical:

Note:
While writing this post, I noticed something weird. Although on the boot menu I only saw my Sandisk and my CD/DVD drive, in my Disk Management I can still see my old SSD although I have no SATA cable connected to it.. and since I just formatted the entire volume to get it back to Primary.. Im pretty sure the OS booted from the old SSD else the system would crash.:

So my way forward I'd assume is the following steps:
1) Format the disk to its original state: which I cant do on the desk management screen, the option is grayed out;
a. Disk is now Dynamic GPT, need to turn it to GPT or MBR
2) Clone the disk again while still using its full capacity, how?
3) Be able to use both SSDs on my PC, im guessing Motherboard configuration here.

Im read some posts on other software that are capable of cloning to higher volume SSD unfortunatly they are all paid version, dont want to risk purchasing something that wont work.

may i ask why you formatted the old ssd ?

edit: if you have no sata cable connected to the old ssd then it cannot be showing anywhere! you must have it connected surely ?

cloning does exactly what it says .. clones the disk.. so if you have for instance 250gb and 500gb disks .. and you clone the 250gb o/s disk onto the 500gb .. it clones an exact replica.. which leaves you with 250gb unallocated space on the 500gb. which i believe you can''t just expand because the space is not structured in the same way or in anyway at all.

i would clone the new ssd onto the old ssd to make sure you keep the files and things before you take any more steps.. having it backed up will be a good idea .

Finally im done successfully.

I made sure everything is connected right, formatted the ssd again for a fresh start. Cloned my old to new ssd with this software and got my old contents and the free space needed . The SSD was also bootable.
