After downloading a 15gb Zip file, and trying to extract it via Winrar, I got a popup telling me my solid state drive was out of storage. I checked my hard drive to see that there was only 8gb of storage left on the device. After exiting out of all my windows, I opened my computer folder, for it to say that now I only have 182mb's of data left on the device.

I tried doing a disk cleanup, but that only had 4mb's of free space available on it. What do I have to delete in the SSD, in order to get the rest of my storage back?

do not extract the file with winrar. but up the file up in winrar. to see what the main folders are. and delete those folder/files that was in the zip file. , delete the zip file.

in windows explorer, goto "VIEW" across top, the select "DETAILS", then sort by "LAST MODIFIED" to possibly see newest folders/files on C drive or were ever the unzip files went.

I'm looking throughout my SSD, but can't seem to find anything with GB's, or even MB's of data. The software I was trying to download was a virtual machine, and I did manage to find those files, but once again, only in the Kb's. I downloaded everything on 12/3/17, so i looked around for last modified on: 12/2+/17
