SSD Performance Difference

So, After 5 years im upgrading my CPU and motherboard, And the motherboard i'm getting, the MSI Z97 Gaming 7, has an M.2 slot.

My question is that would i notice a large difference in my current 250gb 840 EVO and an 850 EVO M.2?

Very minimal difference and it wont be worth the extra cost to most people.

Okay thanks for the advice, guess ill stick with my 840 and spend the rest on a new harddrive
