SSD problems - freezing and not being recognized

Greetings,

I have had some very 'unusual' problems with my SSD.
Three months ago I bought a brand new SSD and of course I did a fresh system installation. For a month, the SSD worked flawlessly until it suddenly started to freeze my system. Upon restarting my PC, the SSD could not get recognized as on startup the error said : Please insert a proper boot device and try again.
After a hard shut down and bringing the system back up again, the SSD got recognized and PC worked well for 3 hours, that is until the same thing happened again - freezing and not recognizing SSD upon restarting.

So...my idea was that SSD was faulty. I brought my PC over to store for repairs and the man there replaced my SSD with a new one (luckily I had warranty!).
New SSD got installed, new system...everything brand new. PC worked all right for a month and SAME THING happened again!
So basically after a month of flawless performance, my PC starts freezing again and not recognizing SSD even if replaced.

I need help. I have no idea what this could be, I am not an expert to 'mess' with BIOS as I really don't know much about things there.

Could it be compatibility issues with my HDD?

Also, I find it's fair to note that when I had Quick Start on, my system would randomly freeze as well, but after restart it would work perfectly.
Upon disabling Quick Start, freezes never happened...that is up until now where this annoying problem keeps happening!

SOS! Please help!

Thanks!

I am playing video games, primarily World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2. However, in this case only WoW is on my SSD and system, absolutely nothing else.
It's the second time this happens on two different SSDs!
Once it simply froze while I was using Chrome, second time while I was in WoW. (Speaking of these big freezes where even SSD doesn't get recognized when starting the PC up)

Fun fact: Today after that hard shut down I am not having the freezing issues, I even restarted the PC and everything is working OK. I am, however, expecting these random freezes to happen again...and I can't even turn Quick Start on because it freezes every time Quick Start is on.

These things shouldn't really happen with brand new SSDs...system was reinstalled twice just to be nice and fresh with new SSDs.
I really need to know if it's the compatibility issue or something completely different.

Believe me, I'm totally fed-up with this. Been struggling with these issues for a few months now and I just want to play the games in peace and use my PC without stressing out if it will freeze or not...

Ah it's absolutely not WoW, as it happened when I was not playing it as well and it's not the first time the PC just goes bonkers when I am either browsing through Chrome or even using Word.

Have simular problem on my Lenovo yoga 3 pro. After one year the PC gradually deteriorated, sometimes long response times, sometimes freeze, often blue screen. More frequent as time passes. On warranty, got new ssd (m type). Problem solved seemingly. Now after less than one year problem reappear. Now pc useless. Bluescreen within a minute. Restored backup, failed read errors. Managed to restore older smaller backup (acronis disk image) without errors, but Bluescreen quickly.

I think the ssd used for this pc is sub standard and wears out. Either I will request other brand ssd or demand money back.

Hello kristina2_d. Sorry to hear your running into freezes. What brand is your drive? Suggestion would be to test the drive with the manufactures testing software to see if it is the cause of the problem. If you have a Seagate, use Seatools and it will let you know the health status of the drive. You may also browse our Knowledge Base article on how to test the SSD.
