Hey All!,

Long time reader, first time poster. I have a problem, I have two Kingston SSDNOW v300 120 GB cards in RAID 0 and my speeds are terrible. I never did speed tests with my single SSD so I cant compare but these speeds are slower then one SSD which makes no sense.

Asus Z87-A motherboard

when you use raid on ssd, you loose several ssd speed boosting functions. Such as trim and caching. SSD in raid isn't recognized as an ssd. Its seen as a raid assembly. Had raid intel 530's for a while and even the intel toolbox ssd software didn't recognize them. No smart, no trim, no cache, no readyboost. Same goes for my Samsung 840 pro and evos when those were in raid.
