Question ssd really slow

Hello guys,
it's been a while since my pc is really slow (opening file, navigate online and everything happen with a delay of a second). So I performed reset from windows's settings (delete all files and applications) but nothing has changed pc is still slow. I thought it was an SSD problem.

Its definitely performing bad.
When the PC is idling (not doing anything), in Task Manager/ Performance/ SSD ...is it doing any work or is it at 0% ?

why does it perform so badly? pc has like 3 or 4 years of life
what do you suggest? changing ssd resolve this situation?

A single DIMM will slow EVEYTHING down. It will especially improve your graphics performance.

It could be just a RAM issue. Lack of memory bandwidth, caused by a single DIMM, will impact all aspects.

Try running ubm like this.

Reboot.
Wait a few mins.
Run ubm with the browser closed.

If your other PC is a laptop, maybe. Desktop, no.

yes is a laptop with DDR4 ram.

CPU is overheating.
You have huge background cpu utilization. Check, what is going on there. Use Task Manager.

Intel 6000p M.2 drive is low performance nvme model. Crystal Disk Mark results seem about right.

Low amount of ram (only 8GB) and single channel mode also reduces performance.

Make your startup group skinny...very skinny.....you have something running that is a big hog.

it's strange beacuse I formatted the pc today and there are not programs. while pc is idling it stays from 0% to 4%

It's probably as the other users have said. The CPU is being thermal throttled or you're running in single channel memory or you are happening. Single channel is running is running at half potential bandwidth of dual channel. Your SSD seems perfectly fine.

Check cpu temperature.
You can do that with CoreTemp.

I've done a new test here with Core Temp running and cpu temp is arrived at max of 41°C

I've done a new test here with Core Temp running and cpu temp is arrived at max of 41°C

Is does not seem to be a cpu temp issue or a background task issue so just as a test put a copy of memtest86 on a flash stick.

Boot the stick and let it run.....no errors allowed.

Using a single stick of ram will impact perf but nothing like what your seeing.

That is fine. It completed 11 passes (working on 12 at the time of the picture).

so it's neither a ram problem? or this test can't exclude a ram problem
