So I got an SSD for Christmas. That night I went and installed windows on it. I already had an HDD in my pc which I have been using for about a year now with my Windows 10 Pro key. I went and used the same key with my SSD and everything was fine. I used it for a couple days as my primary boot device. Now, today, I woke and when I tried to boot from it it says something along the lines of "Reboot and select proper boot device" Been sitting here for hours googling solutions but haven't found anyone with my same problem. The SSD shows up in windows and my bios (although uninitialized). When I try to initialize it it says there is not enough space, because my BIOS and windows both think the thing has 0.00GB of storage (not free storage, but storage in all), when it should have about 240GB.

Could this really be the case? I just got the thing and am kinda mad they shipped me a broken one then. Last time I did an RMA (for my GPU) it took like three weeks :/

what is the name/model num of your ssd? there could be a manucturers software solution that can fix your issue. are you capable of attaching your ssd to another computer as an external drive so you can check on its health/status? connect by sata cable. or if you have a sata to usb connector.
