Frustrated first time poster.
Own built Asus Maximus Hero XI.
3 SSD , No platters.
Opening Firefox takes 30 Sec. to load a page.
Photoshop opening a file 20-35 sec. to display the directory trees
Seeking a texture in Vue, 30-40 sec. to display the directory trees
And so on.
Cant be my SSD.
Samsung Pro 970 1t.
Evo 860 2t.
And a old Corsair Force LE 1t.
This PC was flying before.
I would hate to reinstall 10 again.
Got about 735 Gig of programs I would have to reinstall.
Got no more hairs to pull out.
You're my last hope.

Solution
Hah!
Been searching for a month now, for the cause.
The problem is with this file.
Nahimic Service.exe
So what is this file for?
Any Ideas?
I'm running Windows 10 64 Pro.

Located in;
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\a-volutenh3aposwc.inf_amd64_b9b81cb814cdca75\NahimicService.exe

Disabled it in the config startup.
And now my PC is Flying again.

Nobody here is going to be able to figure out what specific problem is. You are going to need to install windows clean and fresh I recommend formatting your SSD and starting over

The fact that you don’t want to do this is not relevant.

nahimic are sound drivers, try updating realtek audio drivers.

one possible cause of ssd slow down is there was a bug in 2004 where it constantly runs a disk scan on the drive, that may have been fixed by now as most 2004 bugs have been.
