Hello everyone,
I 'd like some help regarding an issue i have with my ssd...
It is a recently bought Samsung 840 EVO 250GB ( Win 7 x64 installed there)..So. let's say i have some movie files (e.g. 5GB) on the ssd and i want to copy-paste them in another directory ON THE SAME drive..
The problem is,as the title says, that every time i do that, the transferring speed starts at approx. 350 MB/s but then rapidly drops down to let's say 120MB/s ( i see this from the windows copying window that pops-up..)..
So why is that? Is it normal? i thought that as long as no other mechanical drive is involved, the transfer speed of the SSD should stay high as expected.. ( The drive is connected on SATA3 not SATA2, so that's not the case..)
Thanks in advance,
Stathis
