SSD speeds below advertised

Hi, my Samsung 840 EVO, has never ran on/over all the advertised max speeds. I'm running it in "Maximum Performance" mode using the Samsung Magician software.

What should I do?

Nothing, that's how it is, I got EVO and it's just like that. Turn on RAPID if you want better performance.

THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS THAT CONTROL ALL TYPES OF SPEED ON THE SSD!!!!!!! You can't deal with it, as humans aren't perfect.

They never do. You're not doing anything wrong. Keep this in mind.....those speeds they give you are "theoretical". Your other hardware and applications play an enormous role in determining speeds. I have a Samsung 840 Pro. Granted, it is FAST! But not as fast as what is advertised.

The 'advertised speeds' are theoretical, under ideal testbed conditions.
You will never see that in real life. Be it SSD Read/Write, or internet transfer rates, or gas mileage in your car.
