[SOLVED] SSD Spiking to 100% randomly

Weird issue I've been having, if anyone has any help to offer:

My SSD will randomly spike to 100% usage and cause a random application in progress to halt for a few seconds, sometimes causing the cursor on my screen to freeze as well. This is what it looks like:

For context:

I have an SSD (the one that is spiking) with my OS on it. I also have a mechanical hard drive that I use for storage. I have disabled the mechanical hard drive to make sure it wasn't causing any issues.

The SSD is fairly new (about a few months old). This issue happens randomly, and sometimes goes away. I don't know what causes the issue to begin. Optimizing my drive causes the issue to go away for a little while.

I've tried many things to fix this issue. Checking which application is causing the SSD to use the most resources doesn't yield anything useful:

I've tried disabling my anti virus, I've tried closing all applications, and I've tried checking driver verifications (which caused my computer to blue screen on startup until I reverted it)

Any help?
