Alright, so I've been going about this for about three hours now, and I can't seem to figured out why my SSD decided to wipe itself. I'll give you the scenario of what happened.
Last night, around 1am, I downloaded Minecraft to my 3TB HDD (not my SSD). I went to bed after about 45 minutes. Today I clicked on my Steam shortcut, and it was an error. I opened up My Computer, and boom. All 250GB of my SSD were free.
The reason why I'm so upset, is I had a few assignments for one of my online classes on there, including a research paper I did over winter break. I'm not entirely sure it's recoverable, but I want to try.
Computer Specs (in case it helps):
MOBO: ASRock Z97
CPU: Intel i5 4690K
GPU: GeForce GTX 980
HDD: Seagate 3TB
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
Power: GS Corsair 700
Windows 7
If anyone can provide me with an explanation or possibly a fix to the problem, that would be much appreciated.
