Hello. I have Asus ROG G752VS laptop with i7-6700HQ processor ( https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-G752VS/ ). It has only 1TB hard drive disk. Now I want to add an SSD for faster boot times, etc.
When I opened up the back plate, the 2 SSD slots mentioned the SSD should be of type PCIe only. On their product page, it specified it as PCIE Gen3X4 SSD.
So is it same as NVMe SSDs such as Samsung 960 Pro SSD or is there something else like PCIe SSDs only?
I am looking at buying the ones with 250GB or 500GB of storage.
Thank you!
