Question SSD wont show up in BIOS

Sata drives need two connectors. The Sata Data connector that goes to the motherboard and the Power connector that comes from the Power Supply (PSU). Please make sure these are plugged in at both ends and that you are using only cables that came with your PSU (in case you replaced it)

In the motherboard bios, make sure the Sata ports are set to AHCI and not Raid. If you changed this then "save your setting and exit" and go right back into the bios to see if it sees it now.

I use the power connector that comes from the PSU, and I just switched which part of the connector. The sata ports are set to AHCI. I have any solution I have found on the internet and is there an easy way to check for hardware failure?

I am beginning to thinking that something is wrong with the motherboard, which is weird because I build it for Christmas.
