Question SSD Works in other PC but not in mine

I don't have a huge amount of knowledge when it comes to computers. A while ago a pre-built gaming pc was bought for me and not too long ago the CPU up and died on me. I just got a new CPU, put it in the pc, and now the small external 128 GB Samsung 850 EVO that has my windows 11 installed on it isn't being picked up in the BIOS? So the PC just keeps on going to the BIOS. I have another 1TB HDD and a 512GB SSD that are both internal. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder how they were booting windows off an external ssd.
did you install it on that or was it always that way?

Who made PC? does it have a make/model?

Might need to install windows on an internal drive

what other pc does it work in?
