I saw a couple of videos where laptops are booted in 30secs with SSDs, pretty fast stuff!

I'm wondering if anyone here has SSD, if so, how long does it take for your windows to boot and what's your pc specs?

Technically, I could order the parts and build my pc but I'm waiting to see if newegg will have nice boxing day sales. So I'm asking to all experienced builders and long time newegg shoppers if waiting for boxing day is a wise thing?

Having zero experience, I'm guessing I will save a bit more on PSU, memory and case. Unlikely to see cheaper deals for i5-750 (pretty new), 1156 mobos (still new) and video (ati 5xxx) cards.

ssd= incredibly fast. but dont buy a large capacity one, get a 64-128 Gb one just for your os. 30 seconds is actually slower than usual, it is normally around 20 on the newer ones.
