[SOLVED] SSHD making weird noises...

SSHD makes a sort of grinding/crunching noise when any large processes are being made such as initial start-up or launching of a game. The noise is on and off when the pc is idle aswell. Is this healthy? Should I get a refund? I have built a new computer in July 2018 and it has been making the noise from the start. No effect (none I have noticed) to the functionality or data on the computer.

A drive making new noises is never a good thing.
Run whatever tests the manufacturer requires, and start the RMA process for a new one.

Alright thanks. So you say it should be nearly silent no matter how complex the process?
I have tested it before and found nothing, can i still get it refunded?

You need to determine if it is actually the drive making this noise.
And if it is securely mounted to the case.

Any refund is 100% up to the manufacturer.
