Hello there, I plan on selling my SSD (120GB) and HDD (500GB) because I don't like how I have to keep changing the location for installing programs. Anyways, do any of you have a recommendation for any SSHD that I can buy? Preferably fast and like 1 TB at least.

Here's what I found. *On sale

The WD Red is just a regular hard drive. You linked a couple of 2.5" and a couple 3.5" drives, but for a desktop machine you would generally want the 3.5" version.

There is really only one option if you want a true transparent SSHD and that's the Seagate ones so just pick the size you want and go for it. I have them running in two of my machines and have been very happy with their performance for a spinning disk.

Does the 2.5 or 3.5 really matter? I mean I don't mind them hanging.

They will be more expensive for the same size and generally don't perform quite as well but I doubt that would be that noticeable. If you have space to mount the 3.5" ones you probably want to buy those unless you have some special nee for the 2.5" version.

I ended up buying the Seagate ST2000DX001 because it was the perfect amount of hard drive space for me so I can store lots of my games. It was also on sale and the reviews are good saying that sshd loads like 5x faster than the average hdd.
