Do you need a cert to cover multiple domains and sub domains? If yes, then you can get a SAN cert.
If you only need a cert for 'server.domain.com' then get a single name cert for 'server.domain.com'.
Don't worry about the www part it's usually assumed and added the cert automatically.
Hello, so what i found was my server needs a SSL, my domain is just a access point to my server, my hosing provider said its my server nit my domain name.
I have a Synology unit and ive tried to get an SSL cert from a 3rd party but i still get the unsecured www.s.mydpmainname.com
Synology offers a cert but it doesnt work so i just got a cheap SSL to add but nothing.
