Hi
Anyone knows whats the fan inside SeaSonic Focus GX750 ATX3.0 v3 with part number SSR-850FX3?

140mm 25mm or 30mm?
3 pin DC or 4 pin PWM?

Can replace with Corsair ML140 LED Elite or RS140 or RS140 Max?
Thanks.

Thanks, yep I was repairing AIWA video cassette players and tape drives around 25 years ago, but not crt tvs, I remember tvs had high voltage capacitors, I know your point, but about the fan, I think it's 120mm 25mm, and seems to be 3 pins, what's the highest quality fan that can be used here with the crazy 0.58 A rating?
No idea who the hell uses a 120mm instead of 140mm and uses 0.58 A fan 🙁

Why in the world would you even be considering replacing the fan inside a unit that new? Makes no sense unless there is a manufacturing flaw with the unit. If you think you know better than the engineers who work in the design houses that spend literally YEARS working out the platform development on anything halfway decent, then maybe you wouldn't be asking this question AND you'd be working for them. Just sayin'.

And if there IS, then RMA the unit. It's literally that simple. It's not a complex question.

It also appears to be a 135mm fan, per the specs listed at Seasonic.
Which means it's proprietary. You won't find a decent, reliable replacement without going to what was already in there, and the general public probably doesn't have access to procurement of that specific fan without going through Seasonic. And probably not even then. If you can determine the manufacturer of the actual fan, MAYBE, but I doubt it.

Thanks all, seems wise, with 1 exception: the designers and engineers know better! Many times such decisions are not technical based, but based on the profit, specially during the past decade, gimme one reason to use a proprietary 0.58A fan with higher failure rate, to prevent users from replacing it with better alternatives? Reminds me of Mercedes cars which are not as hq as before! 😀

But you are missing a key point. PSUs are not designed, nor intended, to be user serviceable.

I have owned many Seasonic PSUs over decades of use. Never had a fan fail. Ever.

It's a Hong Hua HA13525H12F-Z and no, you cannot replace it with a 140mm fan because 140mm does not fit. It's not 3 or 4 pin either. It's 2 pin.
