Back on topic, it's actually a good thing to have each fan in your case be at different RPM's. If they were exactly identical, the pressure waves would coincide and amplify, making this horrible beating sound. It's usually best to fill (almost) every fan slot in the case (unless it's got lots of fan slots in the top and you don't have a radiator to go in there), then work inside bios or with fan control software to balance the air coming in with the air going out, usually achieved by running the fans at different speeds; slower exhaust, faster intake. This is what some people refer to as fan tuning.
From the looks of the p280, I'd go ahead and fill all 5 fan slots and begin tuning from there. More fans spinning slower is always quieter than having less fans spinning faster to move the same amount of air. If you don't feel like forking over the cash to do so, fill 4 of the 5 fan positions, leaving the one on top closer to the front of the case empty.
